Day 1 - Welcome evening, entertainment & games
On arrival, our friendly team will meet you at the airport with a big smile and open arms! When you’re ready to go we’ll transfer you from the airport to the beautiful town of Tolmin – your base for your adventure holidays in Slovenia. When you’ve unpacked and got yourself sorted, you will be treated to a welcome drink and an introductory meeting with your fellow travellers and guides! After your first Slovenian dinner, we all relax together and play some evening games! This is a brilliant opening to your Slovenia activities holiday and a great way to make new friends before you’ve even started the adventure!
Day 2 - White Water Rafting Day
We throw you right into the action from the first day of your Slovenian activity holiday! You will be experiencing the fantastic thrills and spills of white water rafting! Surrounded by gorgeous flourishing green hills and striking gorge landscapes, you will experience the exhilaration of white water rafting, mastering the ability whilst rafting along grade 2-3 rated stretches of the beautiful emerald green Soca River.
As always there will be chances for swimming, games and maybe a little relax time! Then we continue our journey, to hurtle down the gushing rivers! The spectacular experience of white water rafting the crystal clear waters of the Soca River is definitely something that will leave you with wonderful lasting memories during your family holiday in Slovenia.
Day 3 - Hiking Day
Today is considered slightly less lively than the white water rafting day, which makes a nice break before the rest of the adventure holiday activities. We will transfer you to the Polog Valley, where you will have the opportunity to explore some World War 1 bunkers before we set off on the hike! The walking is set at a nice calm pace, designed to showcase Slovenia’s stunning natural beauty. You will make your way through pristine forests, over beautiful springs of the Tolminka River as well as a nice break on a high alp meadow! Definitely a perfect family photo opportunity.
Day 4 - Your Free Day
Today is your free day, and what you get up to is completely your choice! You can simply relax at the hotel, enjoy exploring the near by countryside or if you feel like a day tour we can arrange a trip to the beautiful Lake Bled.
Day 5 - Kayak Day
Once you have mastered the basics in river kayaking, you will have the flexibility to discover almost any river in your kayak – and in the morning you’ll be doing just that! Our friendly instructors will set the pace to suit the group. In the afternoon, you get to put your new found kayaking abilities to the test on a Grade I to II stretch of river. The thrills and spills of the untouched river waters make kayaking in Slovenia an indispensable activity for any activity family holidays. It’s an unforgettable experience appropriate for the whole family and will leave you with a big grin on your faces!
Day 6 - Cycling Day
Today you will take a fantastic cycling tour through Slovenia’s eye-catching countryside. We start our journey off towards the valley of Idrijca, riding alongside the river and amongst beautiful lush meadows and pastures. We’re heading towards the picturesque little village of Slapob Idrijci roughly 12km away, where you will be able to rest and enjoy a swim in the soca! In the afternoon we will make our way back to the Hotel for a deserved and delicious dinner and another evening of enjoyment!
Day 7 - Free Day
Today is a free day designed for you to have a break from your busy week so far! You have many options on hand if you don’t fancy a peaceful day around the Hotel. Visit Lake Bled, Paraglide, trek the Tolminka Gorge, hire a mountain bike, swim in the river, sunbathe, play football, discover local cultural history & legends! Day 8 - Canyoning Day
Today is a totally different kind of adventure! You will start the day with a short stroll through the spectacular Prsjak gorge where you shall begin your canyoning adventure! You will jump, slip, slide and climb your way downstream coming face to face with surprising twists and turns around every turn!
This adventure is simply like nothing you’ve experienced before – you even have the incredible opportunity to abseil down a 27m waterfall!

Day 9 - Free Day
Today is another free day for you to explore the local area. Discover your own activities with the nearby attractions or arrange a day trip activity with one of our friendly guides – please feel free to call us with any questions you may have in regards to your family adventure holiday in Slovenia!
Day 10 - Mini Raft
Today you will have the chance to take on the beautiful Soca River. We’ll be trying out the canoe style mini-rafts for a spectacular adventure along the river rapids!
The main difference between the mini-rafts and the bigger white water rafts is you are in complete control of the steering and paddling; which makes it a lot of fun and challenges you at the same time.
As this is the last day of full adventure, today is about having an amazing time. We’ll be adventuring down the river rapids, stopping for fun water games as usual, swimming as well as enjoying a very tasty BBQ to finish off the experience! It really comes down to days like this where you realise why Slovenia adventure holidays are so highly appreciated! We look forward to sharing these experiences with you and your family!
Day 11 - Departure Day
After your last Slovenian breakfast with us, you will be given enough time to do some last-minute shopping with a quick walk into town followed by the hardest activity you will face on the whole family adventure holiday; you will have to say goodbye to all the new friends you have made over the past week. However, at Green World Holidays we say 'until the next time! We never say goodbye!' We look forward to your next Slovenia active break!
