A: Green World Holidays is a trading name of Vamos Travel Ltd. We are specialist tour operator, .ATOL 5927, with an impeccable reputation within the leisure industry.
Q: What is your company’s philosophy?
A: We are a responsible travel member dedicated to offering responsible tourism. Our company philosophy is to offer holidays that we have personally experienced in order to give our valued clients the most relevant and useful information when enquiring about their activity holiday.
Q: Who books with Green world Holidays?
A: We have two distinct markets: Family adventure holidays and adult activity breaks. For the family market it is generally children from 10 years through to teenagers of any age. It is generally better for children of 10 upwards as they are then capable to join in nearly all of the active pursuits. For the adult market we cater for solo travellers, couples and groups: including corporate groups.
About our staff
Green World Holidays is led by two actively involved Managing Directors who are deeply passionate and committed to providing consummate adventure holidays.
Our team on the ground are equally enthusiastic about their jobs and therefore from the moment you book through to the day you departure you will receive the 'personal touch'.
Our guides are all fully qualified and are hand picked for their professionalism and their companionability. You will arrive as strangers and depart as friends.

Q: Most importantly, has your active holiday company financial stability?
100%. Your activity holiday is in safe hands. Green World Holidays / Vamos Travel is 'debt free'. We do not operate our holiday using credit with our suppliers. This means, your holiday is paid in full in advance of your travels. We offer the kind of old-fashioned customer service that instils confidence that your holiday plans are in safe hands.
Q: Can we book plane tickets through your travel company?
A: Yes. We are a fully bonded ATOL member, which means that our customers can book flights through Vamos Travel / Green World Holidays with full financial security. ATOL Protection extends primarily to customers who book and pay in the United Kingdom.
Q: Can we book our own flights and then book with your travel company?
A: Yes. It is common for our customers to book their own flights especially with low cost carriers. We will simply help with the rest.
Q: Are family active holidays suitable for teenagers?
A: Yes. Our programmes are ideal for even the most restless of teenagers. Our guides are experienced of dealing with adults, children and teenagers and as we age match our families and groups they will always set the tempo of the days to suit our guests.
Q: Is their a minimum age?
A: Yes. But the age is different for each itinerary. Our minimum age usual starts at 10 years. The reason for this is that physically 10 year olds upwards are capable of taking part in all the active pursuits. However, we do have programs for ages 8
Q: What if we have a mix of ages?
A: If you have a mix of ages for example 14, 10 and 7 then unfortunately the 7 year old would not be able to take part. However some families still chose to come and parents will take it in turns to child-mind. The hotel has a swimming pool and a games room and there are nice walks and places to explore on your child-minding days!
Q: Do you provide child minders?
A: Not for 1-1 child minding. Our holidays are to bring the family together.
Q: Is their a maximum age?

A: Where ever possible, yes we do.
Airport Transfers for active holidays
Q: Can you organise transfers to/from the Airport?
A: Yes. We can arrange all your transportation needs for small or large group sizes. Our drivers will always meet you with a greeting card and a smile and drive you safely to your accommodation.
Q: What types of accommodation do you offer?
Accommodation varies on the itinerary. If unclear – please contact a staff member. We work with farm houses through to boutique hotels.
Booking Process & Payment
Q: Can you explain ‘simply’ the booking procedure?
A: Yes. It’s very straight forward. When you are satisfied with your holiday itinerary/package offer, we will re-confirm the availability. Once this is confirmed, we will send a booking form & attach our terms and conditions – these can be sent either by post, fax and most commonly by e-mail. We will require a deposit per person to secure the booking. The remaining balance must be completed 8 weeks before departure. If you book within the 8 weeks prior to departure date, then the full balance must be paid.
Q: Can I secure a holiday by paying a deposit
A: Yes. Read previous question.
Q: How can I pay?
A: We accept all major credit/debit cards. Cheques payable to ‘Vamos Travel ltd’ (Green World Holidays is our trading name) and on-line bank transfers to our Barclay’s account is also accepted. Download our booking form to read further information.
Q: Can we pay individually?
A: For large group bookings and corporate bookings, we expect the group organiser to gather in the money from the relevant party members and make payment for the deposit/full balance. We understand the difficulties of this procedure, so your individual account manager will correspond with the accounts department, to make sure you have enough time & flexibility to get the money in on time. For smaller groups we can accept individual payments.
Q: Will I have to pay for amendments to the itinerary?
A: We don’t charge an administration fee, but you will have to pay for the additional services you book and any additional costs that occur.
Q: Are there any hidden costs, extra taxes when booking a Green world Holiday package?
Q: Should I take out insurance before travelling?
A: Yes. It is extremely important that you take out the appropriate insurance for any type of holiday and travelling purposes. As you will be doing a variety of activities you will need to make sure you are correctly covered.
Q: When can I expect to receive my tickets, hotel vouchers, holiday information?
A: We send your travel documents 10-14 days before departure. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your personal account manager.
Q: What if I have a problem abroad?
A: We will provide you with an emergency contact name/number, who will be able to help during difficult situations. This is not available for activity, transfer, flight ONLY bookings.
Q: Do you have activity holiday brochure?
A: In line with our green eco-policies we do not produce what would be classed as a traditional paper brochure. You can also down the pdf version.
Q: What if I need special facilities during my stay?
A: If you have any special requirements make them known to our staff, before booking / payment.

A: Throughout the year we offer promotions. Also more promotions exclusive to facebook & Twitter follwers
Q: Do customers leave feedback or reviews of your holidays?
