Day 1: Saturday (Wk 1)
Arrival & Gala dinner
We recommend flying into Split airport where our guide will greet you. Your accommodation is a 3 star hotel in the middle of the Dalmatia countryside, in the town of Sinj. We have a gala meal at a local restaurant.
Day 2: Sunday (Wk 1)
Visit Trogir
Your journey begins in Sinj, a UNESCO heritage town. It’s less than 1hour from the city of Split. We recommend that you enjoy an orientation walk along the many narrow cobblestone streets. Visit the fort, and enjoy a wonderful panoramic view. In the afternoon, we drive to Trogir. There are wonderful markets to explore and a fortified castle. Trogir was once voted by Condé Nast as the world’s most beautfitul city.
Day 3: Monday (Wk 1)
River adventure
From Sinj we take a 40 minute ride into the stunning hinterland of Croatian countryside. You’ll be meeting other families, to take on the canoe safari. Paddling down gentle rapids, and calm river sections, we’ll enjoy the surroundings of river life. We will stop to play games and givetime for swimming. Parents will be able to buy beer and wine from the local sellers. Later in the afternoon, your family will be taken on a short walk to discover a nearby cave. Then we’ll stop by the river for swimming. Teeanager activity holidays are very popular in this area, so you are bound to be joined by like minded peers.
Day 4: Tuesday (Wk 1)
Mountain biking
We have designed a perfect bike tour for families of all skill abilities. Your guides will help you explore the hidden corridors of the countryside. From dusty trails to man made tracks dedicated to mountain biking. We will bike through vineyards and descend valleys with the warm air on our face. As we cycle along a mixture of roads and single tracks. Croatia family cycling holidays are become more popular, with good weather and quiet roads. For anyone getting tired, you can join our driver in the support van. There’s always music, snacks and water in our ‘party van’.
Day 5: Wednesday (Wk 1)
Relax day
Today is left free for you to relax. Take a taxi to the beach or simply relax around the pool. If you fancy something more energetic there are marked trails for biking and hiking. Go shopping in Split, cross over the boarder to Bosnia, or simply chill with your book.
Day 6: Thursday (Wk 1)
Mini rafting
It’s time for the mini rafting experience. We will take your family on a diverse range of rapids. You’ll be dropping down waterfalls, bumping off rocks and riding the white water currents. You’ll be steering your own river vessels, so expect a fun challenge ahead. The river is powerful, so you’ll need to work with your partner to negiotate the gushing waters. Half way along the river, we’ll swim amongst the rapids. It’s a truly amazing experience, feeling that close to nature.
Day 7: Friday (Wk 1)
White water rafting
Croatia has excellent grade 2/3 white water rafting river sections. These are perfect for parents, teenagers and children alike. Full concentration is needed as you tackle deep pools, bubbling gorges, spilling waterfalls and bumpy rocks. Get ready for thrills and spills as the wave’s crash over and your family screams with delight. Don’t forget to bring your cameras. After rafting we travel to the pirate town of Omis. A stunning coastal old town, where our families can play on the beach, swim in the Adriatic Sea and soak up the Croatian sunshine.
Day 8: Saturday (Wk 2)
Canyoning
Our next family adventure tour is canyoning. The canyon is vast and we make the descent deep to the base level. We will jump and slide along streaming water currents, find waterfalls and splash our way into warm & cold pools of water. Anyone scared of heights doesn’t need to be worried, as big jumps can be avoided. This is one of the best family tours to book in Croatia.
Day 9: Sunday (Wk 2)
Hvar island
Hvar island is the perfect place to continue your multi family active holiday. The island of Hvar is one of the finest of the Dalmatian many islands. Popular for its rich Mediterranean nature, old traditions, pleasant architecture and nightlife. There are vast fields of lavender, ancient olive trees, green vineyards, all residing in harmony between people and nature. Take a well deserved break here. Fall in love with the many beautiful beaches, secluded bays, unique gastronomy and stunning sunsets.
Day 10: Monday (Wk 2)
Sea kayaking & picnic
Sea kayaking is alot of fun and very safe! You’ll be paddling on the Adriatic Sea where you can enjoy the coastline from a very different perspective. Alternatively, your children may ignite your competitive streak as the two man kayaks allow you to race in teams and test your families co-ordination and timing! Unless you have older teenagers we recommend one parent and one child per kayak. At the half way point, it’s time for a picnic and to snorkel the warm sea waters.
Day 11: Tuesday (Wk 2)
Beach day
Hvar is home to some of the most unique beaches in the Mediterranean, only rivalled by its sister island ‘Brac’ that lies adjacent. There are many beaches to choose from, so your family can experience a new location every day. Hvar’s coastline is inundated with secret bays and hidden coves, so find your own plot of paradise. The following can be organised as extra: windsurfing, sailing, Brac day trip, jet skis and cycling.
Day 12: Wednesday (Wk 2)
Cycling & Vineyard
We all know how much teens love being outside. Parents just need to turn off the Wi-Fi. Remember that first sense of real freedom that comes with your first bike? The long summer days of out doors fun and exploration? This active 2 week Croatia holiday is the perfect way to relive that thrill with your children. Hvar is an unspoiled island that can best be seen along the coastal roads, through lush meadows & through its villages. The cycling pace is tailored to your families age and fitness level, so don’t worry if your not biking regularly at home. As the day gets cooler, you’ll be collected by the Vine Yard owner. Time to take a walk through the vines and sample a selection of Red, White and Rosé bottles.
Day 13: Thursday (Wk 2)
Private boat to Brac island
Brac is tallest island in Croatia and one of the largest. Visit the mountain face monastery, bike down the tallest mountain and play on the ‘Golden Beach’ in Bol. Brac island has a unique atmosphere and some of the clearest sea water in Europe. Our guests can travel from Hvar by private speed boat, ferry or kayak. Brac island is definitely a must-do if travelling in Croatia.
Day 14: Friday (Wk 2)
Split & Krka national park
You’ll be leaving Hvar island for Split. After hotel check in, we transfer to Krka national park. Your guide will lead you through the magical hidden waterfalls where you can swim. You will love exploring the footpaths and boarded walkways that cross the river. Discovering one of Croatia’s best national parks is a must-do.
Day 15: Saturday
Departure
Today is your departure day. Rest assured, you will be going home with some magical memories from Croatia. Your guide will take your family to Split airport where you will begin your transfer home.
