Thanks for a great holiday. Slovenia is so pristine. Everywhere we went was so clean and picture postcard pretty. We have skied in France, Austria and Italy before but this family ski holiday in Slovenia was definitely up there with one of our best. The ski resorts were small but very well maintained and our guides made it very relaxing. The other families we met were lovely and our 2 teenage daughters clicked with the other teenagers very quickly. It was a really lovely experience. I wanted to do something fun with my 2 teenage sons and came across your Slovenia ski safari program online. I have to say it worked really well and was a lot of fun but very well organised. Our guides Vida and Jaka were legends. My boys really enjoyed the social side of things which takes the pressure off us parents. Highlights were skiing at Vogel which was one of those blue sky epic days and of course the ski bikes. The ski bikes were the best and simply hilarious fun.

We liked the look of this holiday because it was something a bit different. It turns out to be a great call. Our teenagers really appreciated the variety and the option to hang out with other families was terrific. During the ski days it was very laid back; you could still do your own thing; it didn’t feel like a boot camp. As out guide Bostjan would always say ‘no stress!’ So, thanks to Green World for organising everything and delivering a great family ski holiday in Slovenia!

The Slovenia ski safari was brilliant. It was really good fun and social. Vida and Jaka our guides were so attentive and great with the kids. It was really nice just having it all planned out so we literally just got up had breakfast and off we went. The hotel was lovely and next door was the waterpark which we used a couple of times. The kids loved the slides and parents enjoyed the heated pools and hammam spa area. The ski resorts were very pretty; and all very modern. For good skiers you wouldn’t want to stay in one resort as there wouldn’t be enough terrain but that’s why the ski safari works so well. Each day we did somewhere different. Overall a great family ski holiday!

We’ve just return with big smiles on our faces, everything worked out better than expected. Our transfers smooth & well connected, the driver was very informative and very helpful. Accommodation perfectly located and staff couldn’t be more attentive. All the activities arranged were wonderful, seeing some amazing scenery and meeting some fabulous characters along the way. The kids were never bored, never a dull day and we all sleep deeply with playful dreams lol. Delighted with all, so thank you ever so much.

The stunning scenery and great skiing slopes. Very good ski instruction in private lessons. People very helpful and willing to go beyond what you would expect to assist. Very enjoyable. Slovenians are very welcoming and helpful – English widely spoken. Considering we were booking onto a half term February family ski holiday, we were expecting more crowds on the slopes, but we were pleasantly surprised with the ski resorts we went to. We had a great time thanks! Luka was fantastic – both for lessons and the general rep stuff. ‘No more snow plough’ is the new mantra in our house!! Thanks for the link to the pictures. A great reminder of a fantastic holiday. Can’t thank Bostjan and Kristian (and Luka) enough for all that they did for us. We felt like VIPs and it was fantastic not to have to think about anything other than standing upright on skis. Bostjan worked very hard to make sure that everything was running as smoothly as possible for us and nothing was too much trouble, from the private ski hire session on our first evening to the moment we were dropped off at the airport. He and Kristian make a great team and Kristian was endlessly patient with the boys – a natural teacher. Luka was also great – a “top lad” in Daniel’s words – and both boys made tremendous progress during their three days of lessons. Slovenia was beautiful, the weather was kind, and our room in the hotel was comfortable. (The boys enjoyed using the pool and the sauna with the other lads at the end of the day.) It’s not every holiday where you can say that you were guided and taught by a member of the national ski jumping team, a member of the national mountain biking team, and a freestyle ski champion! All three were fantastic role models for the boys and when it was time to go, it felt like we were leaving friends. I was quite nervous before we left but I always felt in very safe and expert hands. A great winter ski break – thanks for arranging it all.

Remember how we spoke about my youngest and her fear of heights, I thought she will be afraid of the lifts? Well, these fears all disappeared as she met Yakka (how do you spell his name?). Thanks for recommending this family ski holiday, we would’ve spent so much more money in Finland, Norway etc and would never meet your lovely team if it wasn’t for your recommendation. Thanks again!

This is our 3rd holiday with Green world holiday and as usual we enjoyed our holiday a lot. It was perfect for me and the kids as we had not skied or snowboard before. David who was the snowboard instructor was just brilliant. He was very patient with our teenagers and made their experience very enjoyable. David was also driving us to different ski resorts every day and is very knowledgeable about Slovenia. He really went out of his way to look after us. Even on New Year’s eve he dropped us to our restaurant at 8:30 pm. Can’t praise him enough! Monica who was my ski instructor was amazing too. She was patient but always pushed me to the next stage. I had never ever put skis on in my life and didn’t think I could ever ski but now I can! My husband too was very thankful to the skiing lessons he had as he had not been skiing for 20 years. The hotel was good as well. The breakfast and dinners had lots of variety. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. The swimming pool and the spa facilities are not in the hotel but a short walk away. However, you can get in the pool for free if you are staying at the hotel. All in all this was a fantastic holiday and would recommend it. Slovenia is a beautiful country. Will look into the summer activity holiday!

We had a fantastic ski safari holiday in Slovenia.  We loved going to the different resorts and the ski biking and tubing on the last day was great fun.  The guides were brilliant,  Yakka’s ski lessons were spot on,  simple, calm instructions and we were in the red slopes by day 2.  Davvid is funny and engaging. The hotel was lovely.  Our 17 year old loved the gym in the evenings, along with his 15 year old sister they loved the WiFi in the hotel and swimming at the pool a few minutes walk away. Seeing the beautiful old town of Ljubljana and the meal on the last night was a great way to end the week.  My non skiing husband also loved it.  He enjoyed the resorts, with the walks and bars. A brilliant family holiday. Thanks so much

The social aspect especially on the evenings works really well. The skiing was terrific and there was no pressure; everyone could ski at their own pace and ability. Taking teens on holiday is a challenge, in terms of balancing between what you want to do and what they don’t want to….and satisfying the quest for strong WIFI. I want my holidays with my children to still be family time but yes, parents are so uncool for teenagers. Green World holidays offers the perfect compromise. This ski safari was simply amazing. The daytime filled with fun and laughter. The night time we would come together to eat, and every meal felt like a feast and a party occasion. We loved our time in Slovenia and will be back for your summer trip. If unsure or never heard of Green World, you must call them. They are amazing!

Ski lifts seemed fast and modern and only really seemed particularly busy in the mornings. Ljubljana is a great city and the perfect base for this kind of ski touring holiday, going to various different ski resorts. It perfectly marriages great skiing and meeting other like minded families. If time is limited, this slovenia ski holiday is just the ticket and super value for money. 7 nights well spent, my kids loved it.

The family skiing safari was very well organised, and the hotel was first class. The Slovene people are friendly and Ljubljana feels family friendly even though it’s a capital centre. The skiing was very good and my children rally excelled under the instruction of your guides. It is great value for money especially for food and drinks, probably about a quarter of the price in France. All arrangements by Green World went to plan and they did a great job of organising. I’d recommend this trip to others families, just read their TripAdvisor reviews, that’s how we found this holiday.

My family and I had never tried the family ski safari holiday concept before, but with limited time this year, this was just the ticket. The skiing was wonderful, resort transfers made simple by our private pickups and equipment was done with a private fitting also. Hotel was perfect, nice staff, clean and comfortable. Airport transfers and ski logistics worked perfectly, and the seamless co-ordination put the whole family at ease. We obviously had confidence from the outset from your strong communication, but still its nice to experience the realization of the holiday itinerary. The winter adventure really does begin as you meet the other families booked on. This is for social able families, who are seeking the company of others.

Austria, Italy & Slovenia are wonderlands for snow action. The night skiing fab, the ski-bikes unmissable, the prices affordable. Check-in to the hotel was flawless and we made good use of the nearby aqua park. The ski safari week is neatly laid out, authentically Slovenian and has been a big hit with my teenagers, who have been quite spoilt with previous skiing holidays. This has been their favourite to date. Overall, the staff were delightful. Snow activities ran like clockwork. Can’t thank you enough, from start to finish you gave us great confidence and delivered an exceptional experience. Super family winter adventure in Slovenia.

Ljubljana is a truly stunning location. It’s been a real joy. Everything and more than what’s described. The hotel and ski crew were absolute legends. For the purposes of a family activity holiday in Slovenia, this is a must. The kids loved the aqua park near the hotel, the parents loved the vibrancy of the capital centre. There was no fear of getting bored. Everyday we were being whisked off to another amazing location. It was great, more exciting than expected, I’m already looking for a similar ski holiday for next winter. Never knew ski bikes were so much fun. We loved Slovenia. Its beautiful I’m definitely planning to go back there, and I have a great excuse because I still have to see the rivers and canyons. It’s a different kind of ski holiday and brilliant way to meet other parents and buddy up teenagers. Hope this is helpful feedback. Oh, maybe a bigger selection of rental helmets would be better.
