SATURDAY: Split - Makarska

Your departure and meeting point will be in Split. Departures are always on Saturday at 12:00 h mid day, so you’ll need to check in around about 10am. Most guests will arrive a day early, and stay in a private apartment or hostel for 1 night, so there is no chance of missing the boats departure. At approximately 13.00 your Sail party Croatia starts, and we set sail along the Dalmatian coastline for our first destination. But before we get there, we’ll have our first swim stop. Your captain will find a secluded bay, and with no other boats around, we can make as much noise as we like! From here, we push onto to Makarska, a gorgeous town set on the side of a stunning mountain back drop. Stroll along the streets or take on the awesome nightlife. We recommend the Cave Club here!

SUNDAY: Makarska - Mljet

Wake up and you’ll probably already find the boat is on its way to Mljet, famous for its stunning national park, inland lakes and tranquility. On Mljet, we recommend renting either a small boat or mountain bikes and do some exploring. Feeling lazy? No problem, sun bathe ontop of the boats or swim in the Adriatic Sea, and relax. Tonights overnight stay will be the small port Pomena or Polaca.

MONDAY: Mljet - Dubrovnik

Today, our Croatia island hopping party heads for the most iconic city of Southern Europe. Get stuck into another big breakfast and hold tight for Dubrovnik. I’m sure you’ve seen many pictures of this city in magazines and on billboards, well now’s your chance to explore this incredible old town for yourselves. To quote the writer George Bernard Shaw ‘i believe i have found heaven on earth’. We highly recommend to everyone to walk the old town walls and through the ‘Stradun’, a grand promenade inside the city walls. Overnight in the port of this magical old town, you’ll find two nightclubs and many pubs & busy bars.

TUESDAY: Dubrovnik - Sipan / Trstenik

From Dubrovnik we cruise to either Sipan or Trstenik, both are small scenic towns on the Peljesac peninsula, and again a perfect rest stop for swimming and taking in the nearby nature. Here we’ll chill and immerse ourselves in the laid back Croatian culture. But for sure, the onboard bar will liven things up at any point. Again, these stunning islands are perfect for your own explorations. Find your own hidden cove and jump into the inviting warm waters with your new friends. Feel the relaxation set in!

WEDNESDAY: Sipan / Trstenik - Korcula

Onwards to the birth place of Marco Polo, ‘Korcula’. This spectacular Island is often a highlight for many on Sail party Croatia. You’ll soon be able to judge for yourselves. Get lost in the maze of old town walk ways, discover churches and monuments and find the zest of this lovely Island. There are many great cocktail bars, and we recommend finding one to watch the perfect sunset.

THURSDAY: Korcula - Hvar

Today’s departure is for the Pakleni Islands for lunch and swimming, then departure for Hvar after lunch. Interestingly, Hvar is the longest island on the Adriatic. Here we can discover the Renaissance cathedral with its original towers; also the oldest community theatre in Europe was founded here back in 1612. Also, Hvar offers abundant evening entertainment full of restaurants, bars and cafes that are open long into the night. Our top tip, is to walk to the top of the Island and take the views from the castle.

The biggest nightlife spot in Hvar is Carpe-diem club, with international DJs, VIP boothes and court yards as dancefloors. Carpe Diem is the Ibiza life, and signifies what the Croatia sailing party is all about. For day sessions, try Hula Hula which is the favourite beach hangout for trendy island hopping folk. On the pine covered hillside, you’ll find – Veneranda Club, looking over the harbour. This all night disco closes around 5am and is another place worth checking out. For the stylish and lavish lounge bar vibes, head to Zimmer Frei, Pink Champagne bar and also try The Top, which is located on the roof of the Adriana Hotel.

FRIDAY: Hvar - Brac (Bol) - Split

Our next stop on Sail Croatia will be the island of Brac. Swimming is planned at one of the most famous beaches in Dalmatia, called Zlatni Rat (near Bol). It’s also known as the Golden cape, due to its look and shape. Due to the wind changes, it changes shape and direction throughout the day. Bol is another lively town, and another great stop on this epic cruise. After lunch we will start our journey back to Split where the last overnight is planned for your group. Once our party boats arrive in Split, we recommend you explore the Unesco old town and walk the many corridors of this amazing city. On the evening walk to other side of the bay, and find the sea front nightclubs.

SATURDAY: Split

We have breakfast, then after which it is time to say goodbye to the crew and all your new friends!

B category boats are our most popular choice for Sail party Croatia. It’s a great cost saver, allowing for twin bunk cabins, all with shared on deck bathroom facilities. All category B boats offer plenty of sun and shaded space. So chilling in comfort is not an issue. We think, the B-CAT boats are perfect for anyone under 35, young spirited and happy to used shared wash facilities. These are the liveliest motor-sail yachts we offer, and you’re going to meet lots of people that want to see it all in the day, and do it all at night! Please note, that the gallery pictures are from a selection boats, and styles will vary alot.

– Cabins private with shared wc/shower facilities – so not en-suite

A Category Boats

Category A boats are a nice upgrade for a Croatia sailing party. Many of these classic boats are bunk bedded, but double & twin cabins can be requested – but never guaranteed. An exclusive feature of the A category boat is that all cabins offer a private en-suite bathroom. Additionally, these gorgeous boats offer towels, board games and ample shaded and sun deck space to laze about! The cabins are bigger than the B CAT boats, but still do not offer air conditioning. • Boats and cabins

Q: Tell me more about the boat categories & cabins
    A: No problem, read below:

B-category boats, are 2 bed cabins, which are usually bunk beds. B-category boats are favoured amongst the young-minded travellers [ages from 18-35]. B-category boats have shared bathrooms and toilets.

A-category boats, are 2 bed cabins, which are usually bunk beds [some twins & doubles on request only!]. A-category boats are favoured amongst the young-minded, working professional traveller [ages from 25-44]. These cabins offer en-suite private bathrooms and wc/showers.

A+ plus-category boats, are 2 bed cabins, which are usually twins & doubles. A+ plus-category boats offer en-suite private bathrooms and wc/showers, larger space, air-con, daily changing/cleaning, sun-beds on deck, and additional extras.

Premier plus-category boats, have everything of the A+ standard, but offer even more facilities like hot tubs on deck, and boutique bedrooms [perfect for romantic stays or high-end luxury].

Q: What is the difference between ‘above’ and ‘below’ deck cabins?
A: Above deck is situated on the main deck of the boat. Below deck cabins are found in the hull of the boat.

A benefit with the cheaper below deck is often they are much cooler as they don’t heat up as much during the day. The benefit with the above deck is they are on the top of the deck with most above deck cabins opening out to the ocean. There are pro’s and con’s to both – the below deck cabins are often quieter at night as you do not have other travellers walking past your cabin as much as the above deck cabins. Above deck cabins offer more natural light and ventilation. Each boat is unique and therefore the cabin layout does vary from boat to boat. Please note: On some of the boats the above deck cabins are located on 2 levels, i.e. on deck and upper deck.

     Q: Who owns the boats?
A: The boats we operate with are owned  and run privately. Our local operations team in Croatia ensures all boats and crew operate to a high standard. In the rare occurance that there is a small problem, our local staff will react to your request immediately.

Q: How many people per boat?
    A:
This depends on the size of the sail boat, but the average boat size is around 25 people. Ensuite boats accommodate on average 30 people, with the Premier ships taking an average of 38 people.

  • Solo Travelers

    Q: Are solo travellers welcome?
A: Yes. If you are prepared to stay with a same ‘sex’ traveller, there will be no single supplement charge. If you would like your own room/cabin – single supplement fees will have to be charged.

  • Health & fitness

Q: Tell me about the health & fitness levels required for this holiday
