The big advantage to a short break ski holidays in Slovenia is that almost all of the snow resorts have direct access to and from the lowlands.This basically means that guests have incredible access to the slopes from urban areas, with very short transfer times.

Day 1:

We will meet and greet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation either at the resort or in Ljubljana, whichever you prefer. On the way we will stop at our ski shop and arrange your ski equipment and give you your passes; that way you don’t have to faff around the next day and maximise your ski holiday short break 

Day 2:

If you are staying in Ljubljana we will collect you at an agreed time and take you to the resort; if you are staying at Krvavec you can simply roll out of bed at your convenience and enjoy a breakfast with a view.

Krvavec is a small resort but for a long weekend it is ideal with a nice balance of easy blues and greens as well as some nice reds and blacks for the advanced skiers. It is a high resort over 2000m so the season is very long running from December until early April. It is generally a sunny resort and the views above the cloud line are magical.

Day 3:

Another day on the slopes. Now you have hopefully found your legs you can let yourself go and relax into the weekend. If you are struggling to get back into the groove or are a beginner or even an expert who wants to try some off-piste then you can always book a lesson. Note: Our Slovenian ski instructors are world class but always in high demand, so it’s worth booking ski or snowboarding lessons before you travel.

Day 4:

Today is your last day. We will transfer you too the airport safely and we hope to see you again!

Stay on the slopes: Krvavec ski resort

Try our very nice family run 4 star hotel on half board basis. Do note though, that after 5pm the gondola lift stops and the sole operating facility is your hotel. There are no apres bars and restaurants ontop of the mountain open after 6pm. 

Stay off the slopes in Ljubljana [Slovenian capital]

Ljubljana is only 30 minutes from Krvavec ski resort, so many of our guests enjoy staying within the capital itself. Discover many wonderful cobblestone streets, boutique shops and affordable restaurants. The package prices are based on 3 star hotels or our apartments, but upgrades are very possible. Do ask us about 4/5 star hotel options on your enquiry form. The pictures seen in this gallery are examples of 4 star quality rooms.

    A: No. The price shown excludes flights. In the era of low cost airlines and self check-ins, we leave our clients to book this separately.

    A: We advise families to arrive @ Ljubljana airport.

    Q: Tell me about the health & fitness levels required for this holiday
    A:  All travellers must be moderately fit to book and participate on this holiday.

    Q: How is duration defined for activity days and tours?
    A: The length of time for each activity day will always vary. For more specific timings or any concerns please consult your travel manager directly, he/she will talk you through each day, and what to expect. We always keep in mind the balance of fun & relaxation. These days have been designed from our own experiences and enjoyment, but if you have specific expectations – please ask us.

  • Winter Clothing

    Q: I’ve booked a ski & snowboard holiday with you. Do you provide all the clothing?
    A: No. Clothes, hats, googles, gloves, helmets, and warm layers are not provided. They can be possibly rented, upon written request.

     Q: I’ve booked a multi activity holiday, that invloves sub-zero temperatures. What specialist clothing do you provide?
    We provide all the specialist arctic clothing for any activity / tour, you have booked with us. Often our clients can keep the clothing throughout their stay, so they rarely have to buy/bring their own clothing. Please fully discuss this with your travel manager, so they can clarifty what is 100% included during your stay.

    Q: What shall i bring for arctic regions and sub-zero conditions?
    As mentioned in the above answer, we’ll be providing any specialists clothing you need to particpitate in total comfort. From inner mitten’s and helmets to hermal jacket/trousers and gloves. Everything is taken care of. If you are prone to cold hands or poor circulation, we recommend you purchase ‘hand warmer packs’. These can be squeezed and held inside your gloves, which act as a tempoary heater throughout the activity.

     Q: I suffer with poor blood circulation, and my hands tend to get cold. Can i still enjoy the activity tours?
    Firstly, we must understand the degree of your problem, but ‘yes’ its very possible. With the correct clothing and preparation – and choosing the correct tour duration, our guests will be warm and happy. It’s important to discuss this in detial with our travel managers, and they will design the correct winter adventure holiday for you.

    Q: Can you suggest a winter kit list?
    For sure. We have a PDF document ready to send to you. Please contact your 1-1 travel manager.

    Q: Do customers leave feedback or reviews of your holidays?
    A: Yes, we take great pride in receiving them. Each holiday program has there own review tab, so new customers can hear the voices of our past & repeat clients.     Q: How do I leave feedback?

    Q: Can I send feedback directly to a general manager / company director?
    A: All feedback is received by our product managers, not your 1-1 travel consultants. The feedback forms are then used for our staff’s monthly evaluations. The most praised staff during that month receives various rewards.

  • Holiday information packs

    Q: When can I expect to receive my holiday information pack [example: tickets, hotel vouchers, tour information]?
    A: We send your holiday information packs 10-14 days before departure. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your 1-1 expert adventure holiday manager.

    Q: What if I have a problem abroad?
    A: For most holiday bookings, we will provide you with an emergency contact name/number, who will be able to help during difficult situations. This is not available for activity, transfer, flight ‘only’ bookings.

    Q: What’s the secret to your holidays?
    A: No secrets here! We only create holidays, that we’ve personally experienced ourselves and loved. We offer the kind of old-fashioned customer service that instills confidence that your holiday plans are in safe hands. 

  • Booking and payment

    Q: Can you explain ‘simply’ the booking procedure?
    A: Yes. It’s quite straight forward. We will send you an initial offer and if you would like to proceed you will let us know either verbally or by email; at this point we will double check availability and assuming all is ok we can process your booking with us.

    To confirm your booking we will require a deposit payment either by card or via an online bank transfer. Standard deposits are £200.00 per person
    [but we do retain the right to ask for higher deposits on some programs / popular dates]

    Note: Deposits are strictly – non-refundable. Once your deposit is settled we will email you a confirmation receipt and also a link to our booking form which we kindly ask you to complete at your earliest possibility. 

    Important: if there are any special health, fitness , behavioural or dietary requirements that could affect your participation in our activities please speak to your travel manager before you book.

    Your remaining balance must be settled 57 days prior to departure [unless advised otherwise by your travel manager]

    Q: Can I secure a holiday by paying a deposit

    Q: How can I pay?
    A: For deposit payments we accept all major credit/debit cards, and for balance payments we kindly ask that you settle your balance using on-line bank transfer to our Barclay’s account

    Q: Can we pay individually?
    A: For large group bookings and corporate bookings, we expect the group organiser to gather in the money from the relevant party members and make payment for the deposit/full balance. We understand the difficulties of this procedure, so your individual account manager will correspond with the accounts department, to make sure you have enough time & flexibility to get the money in on time. For smaller groups we can accept individual payments.

    Q: Will I have to pay for amendments to the itinerary?
    A: Admin fees may apply depending on the amendments made.

    Q: Are there any hidden costs, extra taxes when booking a Green world Holiday package?
    A: In some destinations there are local tourist city taxes payable on departure. For example in Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana there is a tourist tax charge of 2.50 euro per person per night which must be paid to the hotel on departure.

    Q: Will your activity holidays be run by professional people?
    A: Our supplier partners follow strict safety procedures and work with qualified and experienced guides. Our adventure holidays are personally inspected by us so we can be very confident in the services we are offering our guests. Activities and accommodation are all tried and tested by our staff, before we share them with our loyal customer following.

    Q: Will our accommodation be in a safe area?
    A: Yes. Our client’s health and safety is our total priority. We always inspect accommodation and the surrounding area.

    Q: What medical history do I need to tell you?
    A: It is vitally important that you advise us prior to booking your holiday, of any medical or dietary conditions relating to yourself or any member of your party so that we may notify local staff before your arrival, or advise if the holiday is suitable. 

  • Insurance

    Q: Should I take out insurance before travelling?
    A: Yes. It’s part of our booking terms & conditions that you must have ‘travel’ and ‘activity’ insurance when making a booking with our company. This insurance must cover all aspects of the booking you have made with us, and for the duration of your travel dates.

    Q: What if I need special facilities during my stay?
    A: If you have any special requirements make them known to our staff, before booking [during your enquiry stage].
