Thank you for a delightful and entertaining week in Croatia. Everything and more than expected! We travelled as two couples but enjoyed the small group environment. The walks were within our capabilities but we held our own with the food & wine! Loved the story of how the Zinfandel grape was proved to have originated from Croatia. We tried some lovely Croatian wines, my favourite was the Posip at Sikuli Winery & my husbands the Plavac Mali at Rizman. The final evening at the country estate vineyard was wonderful too. We could all feel the passion and warm hospitality. It was a great way to finish a thoroughly enjoyable week.

Whether you are a wine lover or not, I can highly recommend you to explore Dalmatia with this agency. I have to say it was one of the best culture and active tours we have tried so far. We wanted a one week getaway, that didn’t entail moving to multiple hotels, but wanted to see as much as possible. The tour was a small group of 14 people. Barisa our walk and wine tour guide was so informative and the vineyards we visited were absolutely incredible. The settings for the wine tastings and dinners were just stunning, each getting better as the week moved along. The walking is moderate, not for those seeking a purest walking or hiking trip. Highlights were visit Ston, the winery close to Split and the Krka National Park. We loved how accessible the region was, seeing so much and led with so much attention to detail. At first I wanted to book your Croatia, Rivers and Canyons week. But so happy we booked the Brac island adventure week instead. For any families reading this, follow this tip. If you book the Brac island week, simply book a post extension stay and bolt on the canyoning activity. It was the perfect end to the active week.

Day 2 was great as we did sea kayaking and the sunset hike in the evening so by day 3 everyone was already well bonded. Kids loved the zip line although I found it scary, especially the first one. This was one of our BEST EVER family holidays. Even our boys who are normally so guarded said the same and kept on thanking us! The hotel was ideally positioned in the pretty coastal town of OMIS. Our accommodation was to a high 4 star standard. Hotel Plaza Omis is set on the beach with a rooftop hot tub. A great area and ideal for teens to hang out all the time. Activities were scheduled nicely from easiest to more challenging ones as the week went. My only comment is that you could let everyone know on their arrival about using the hotel washing services, we didn’t know how it really works.

Brac island is truly beautiful. We stayed in a stunning coastal village, only 20 minutes from Supetar. Apartments are 3 stars, with a shared pool and sun lounging areas. Beach and restaurants are only short 5 minute walk away. Walk to the top of the apartment building and reward yourself with the early morning and late evening vibes. Myself and husband would steal a few minutes away from the teenagers and have a coffee here. Our secret place! Exclusive group dinner on the first evening meant an early bonding with our fellow family travellers. This undoubtedly led to a very sociable atmosphere on the Croatia multi activity holiday thereafter. The 5 star status came from the tour leaders and general staff. The booking process was superb, as was the transfers and intridictions. Safety is first, followed by lots of fun. Our favourite trip was with Daniel on the Shepherd’s Walk. If available book it! Brac is a great island for hiking & snorkelling and some of the coves and bays are staggeringly beautiful. You can really switch off here. It’s very safe and your kids will love the independence and freedom. Our Tour leader was Daniel and I cannot praise him highly enough. He worked very hard on our behalf and cared for us and cared about us. He was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited and was always able crack a joke. Thank you Green World for a great active family holiday in Croatia. For families with teenagers this is the perfect trip.

I loved all the activities especially the SUP boarding. But for me my favourite part was actually the gala meals. It was a really nice time hanging out and getting to know the other parents. For kids and teenagers to get off their phones and be little humans. I felt booking with an independent tour operator made a big difference in regards to care and passion from the drivers right through to the main reps and activity leaders. They really made a big impact and impression but the ones who stood out were: Etay was a really nice and funny and she really helped us out with lots of facts and information. Daniel was also very nice and always available if you need any help.

Wouldn’t hesitate to do this Croatia adventure holiday all over again. Brac is so perfect for active families. The other people we met on this trip were fun and on the level. Sunshine & blue skies kick start the days, and star watching & lovely food to wind down the evenings. At times when we got tired, we chilled on the beach, indulged in more food, slept with a book in hand. Our hosts Alexi & Jelena are full of beans, lovely people and really made this experience 10/10. The activity instruction is professional and we felt in safe hands throughout. If you’ve never done this kind of thing before and want to have an active but chillaxing time, then Brac has it covered. We loved it.

Firstly our Omis adventure holiday was fantastic and will always stay in my memory. I loved every part but canyoning and ziplining was my highlight. Our family experienced an adventure holiday in Australia and certainly was not disappointed by this years one in Croatia. Professional staff, stunning beach locations and secluded bays. Food throughout was exceptionally good and excellent vlaue. Highlights? There were so many! From meeting the other families, relaxing on the beach, seeing the sunsets, seeing so many places. A beautiful oasis to be found in Croatia. We felt totally relaxed in the professional care of Green World. Not only are the staff expert instructors and highly trained at teaching, but they took care of our transfers, delicious gala meals and a lot of great banter. All the other family guests are like minded, so we got on famously and swapped facebook addresses at the end. No strangers – only friends to be made here!!! Really liked the daily routine of food, advewnture, food, wine, food, chill, sun, sea, more food, drink, relax, sleep. REPEAT! The 7 nights stay was very comfy. Loved our balcony and roof terrace for sunsets. The holiday went too quickly (that was my only negative). It’s a incredible family active holiday and I’d recommend to anyone, but be prepared to put some effort into the cycling, a degree of good fitness will help. But either way, if you get tired you can always sunbathe and swim in the sea – its not a bad life there lol ….thanks to all for a great time.

I first visited Brac some 18 years ago and was so relieved when returning with my family this summer that island life had remained the same. Our family has had the fortunate opportunity to get to see some amazing parts of the world due to my job but Brac has a very special place in my heart. It’s a hard place to leave! Sutivan had a wonderful charm to it, excellent choices of food each evening and no grumbling children is always a great sign. We did try a few local restaurants in Supetar, which I’d say were excellent value. We also dined in the hills another evening, I shall dig out the name if you require?! The daily activities were superbly organised. Your drivers and guides always on time and making us feel very welcome. Technically, each day was different from the next, so we loved the challenges of something new. It’s given us a great insight to many sports, so next time we visit we might just try one or two sports, and try to improve our skill levels! I very much enjoyed  sea kayaking but the views from the mountain biking were just so inspiring. The beach was a stones throw from the apartments, so we pretty much relaxed there a lot of the time. The boys tried the jet skis and myself and oldest daughter went on long walks around the bay. The water is so warm and still, so inviting. We’d recommend anyone to buy those 4 euros beach shoes. It means the pebble beaches are not a problem and you can swim in these shoes with ease. Would we come back to Brac again? Oh definitely! It’s a real gem and I hope it doesn’t become to well known! Do it! Parents with teenagers…..worried about them grunting and griping through your family holiday? Not with Green World! This active holiday catered for the whole family. Stunning twin stay locations with fabulous food and architecture, plus more than enough teen focus food outlets including vegan, ramen, pizza, pancake and burger bars. Eat together or after introductions are made let them hunt and gather their own food with new friends while the adults enjoy the many bars and restaurants on offer. We felt very safe and we were more than happy for our son to mooch with his new friends. The activities are aimed well for teens and adults, for those with no experience and those with some….even the most reluctant had a go at something….would have been even better if there was opportunity to push yourself a little further with optional trips for more extreme sports like bungee jumps or sky dives etc….? Group size worked well and a good balance of ages and gender for kids….great being able to find this out at the start. because our booking depended on there being other kids for George to hang out with. Gala meals at the beginning and end of the holiday are a great way of getting to know people. In summary, we had a Brilliant time. Super two weeks away.

The Omis family activity holiday in Croatia was great fun. Omis is a stunning place. Authentic and charming. Split is relatively was close by and very attractive. We had a 3 night post stay there. The family owned 4 star hotel called Plaza was exceptional. Rooms were clean and spacious. Location was 5 stars right on the beach. The activity days were terrific. Barisa and his team were so attentive. We loved the canyoning in particular. Croatia is a beautiful country and hospitality is ingrained in the culture.

Thanks for a great holiday. Slovenia is so pristine. Everywhere we went was so clean and picture postcard pretty. We have skied in France, Austria and Italy before but this family ski holiday in Slovenia was definitely up there with one of our best. The ski resorts were small but very well maintained and our guides made it very relaxing. The other families we met were lovely and our 2 teenage daughters clicked with the other teenagers very quickly. It was a really lovely experience. We really enjoyed our Croatia active family vacation. We did this week as part of a longer trip and this week was our highlight. Highlights were skiing at Vogel which was one of those blue sky epic days and of course the ski bikes. The ski bikes were the best and simply hilarious fun.

Hi Maria! We had a great time during our family activity holiday in Croatia and were amazed at how inexpensive everything was. Your reps did a wonderful job of reorganizing our activities when the weather wasn’t good. She even organized an olive oil tasting for us of her family’s olive oil that my family really appreciated. The apartments were just the right size for us – the smaller one for me and my husband and the larger one for our active teenagers. We enjoyed sitting on our balconies and by the pool. Yalena was very helpful to us.  She gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and explained everything in the apartments to us. She also helped us to communicate with Daniel when my cell phone wasn’t working properly, and helped my son do laundry toward the end of our stay. We must also thank all guides, especially for meeting us at the airport when we arrived and saw us almost every day during our stay on Brac Island. She was an excellent driver and guide and also served as our translator when we visited an olive oil museum where the local guide spoke no English. I would highly recommend Green World Holidays and the Brac Island package to anyone planning a family adventure holiday to Croatia. Since there was always someone we could contact who spoke English, we didn’t have to worry about communication. Your team was amazing and made sure that we had an excellent family holiday. The most exciting part of my holiday was the zip lines closely followed by the rafting down the rapids. The kayaking was the more skillful activity. Your activity staff were super. Using Podstrana as a central base was a clever way to see alot more of this fabulous country. It is still unspoilt. We had a great family holiday and would recommend it to other families with children above 10, preferably 12, to get the best out of the holiday. Some wet suits need updating, and an option to see the blue cave systems would have been nice. But I appreciate you don’t like to work with speedboats.

The Dubrovnik activity week in Croatia was great. We really liked Lapad where we were based and of course Dubrovnik itself is stunning. Of course, it is very busy but still a terrific place to explore. Our guides were great and activity days very enjoyable. The only thing I would say is for my son and I it was probably a bit on the tame side; but I do appreciate you are not advertising this as an extreme adventure holiday.

The Slovenia ski safari was brilliant. It was really good fun and social. Vida and Jaka our guides were so attentive and great with the kids. It was really nice just having it all planned out so we literally just got up had breakfast and off we went. The hotel was lovely and next door was the waterpark which we used a couple of times. The kids loved the slides and parents enjoyed the heated pools and hammam spa area. The ski resorts were very pretty; and all very modern. For good skiers you wouldn’t want to stay in one resort as there wouldn’t be enough terrain but that’s why the ski safari works so well. Each day we did somewhere different. Overall a great family ski holiday!

Our time on the rivers and Adriatic waters and surrounding area was the escape we needed. We came into contact with some lovely families, who couldn’t have been more compatible. Wonderful family adventure holiday on Brac island. Maria was very thorough prior to the holiday – calling to check and double check details.We were collected from Zadar and brought to Split then on the ferry and onto your adventure base. Absolutely gorgeous coastal like village. with plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants. It made for a very friendly and safe environment. Daniel was our local host and was amazing and extremely attentive to all the kids – kids had a wonderful time partly due to Daniels great interest in the kids. We did rock climbing / kayaking / mountain biking / SUP / visited the Shepherd village where they prepared a feast for the group (optional tour but a must do!) It was the best holiday we have had – kids were 16 / 13 and 11 we would definitely do this type of holiday again. We have 3 post nights stay close to Trogir, where we booked white water rafting and canyoning. We enjoyed these additional trips, so its a good idea for families that like to stay busy. Last tip is Split airport, its still can get busy at peak times, so bring bottled water to the airport on your departure. It will help with the queues. Once through security there are other cafes, but there is not a whole lot of choice.

I did do a review but then hit some button and the page disappeared into cyberspace. We all enjoyed our adventure holiday with you and Maria. Overall, it was an extremely well organised venture with lots of variety on the island. We laughed all through the following week on the beach remembering different tours we did with you. Highlights were SUP boarding and climbing, not to be missed. Our two-week Croatia activity holiday consisted of a large amount of laughter and smiling. With our fellow thrill-seeking families, we jumped on and off boats, kayaked to secluded beaches and rode white water rapids. In the daytime we explored the sea, canyons, rural Dalmatian villages and paddled down the exquisite Cetina river. I felt my children bonded well with the other kids, which always takes the pressure off mum and dad. Our family highlights??? We enjoyed the unforgettable sunsets on Brac Island. My husband booked onto the Ziplines, with our eldest daughter (they loved it). My younger son just loved just hanging out by the pool with the other kids. It was magic.

We had a fantastic time in Omis. Such a lovely place on the Croatian coastline, 40min from Split airport. All the guides were brilliant and had a great sense of humour, but were always aware of the safety issues in any of the activities. Barisa our leader really looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. We loved all the activities! This is a great holiday for teenagers- even for our eldest,17, had a great time. Sea kayaking was a lovely exploration, white water rafting thrilling and Ziplining was truly breath taking! Don’t miss the optional boat trip offered locally and Krka National Park, two BIG highlights for the children and parents alike!

It was a bit of a drive but a good day out. Lapad was a nice suburb of Dubrovnik; not too busy but close enough to give us easy access. All in all, a good active holiday.

Before the children came along my partner and I had extensively travelled in Slovenia and Croatia. So, it was pleasing to see new parts and to share Croatia with our teenage daughters. We have done many family active holidays over the years and have to say this was up there with the best. Maria was brilliant she kept the pace just right and the activities are not to be missed. Brac Island was a magical second week and matched equally in tempo and fun. If looking to discover Croatia for 14 nights, this 2-week family adventure holiday will be a great choice. It’s definitely for sociable families. Parents and kids mix it up. There is a lot of bonding and good-natured banter. I was pleasantly surprised to see my daughters rarely on their iPads. Dare I say they were having fun without the internet! Thanks to all the guides, especially Eti, Daniel, Russell and Maria who went over and above to make our daughters feel welcome. They have a special gift, to engage the children and get them motivated.

I would rate this holiday a 4.5 stars (a near perfect mark). Podstrana has everything to offer, much more than expected. We played tennis, booked in for a Spa day, and found some wonderful beach bars. But the real wow factor was the adventure & families we met. Gala meals included wonderful, very good choices of restaurants (adapt to vege needs and my Gluten free son). Full marks there for sure! The balance of relaxation & adrenaline was just right. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys adventure and fun, wants to experience Croatia without too many tourists and yet wants to feel well looked after.

Hi there Russ, so sorry we forgot to hand in our completed  feedback form whilst we were there. Answers to your questions: Support & knowledge from UK travel manager, food quality was of a high standard,  and the apartments were well appointed. Mario was our guide, we would give him 10 out of 10, he was an excellent guide, supportive, helpful and encouraging. For us as beginners to all the activities he was able to make any fears disappear, with a laugh and a joke. Also we were given a lot of advice on activities that we could do on our time off. Etain also deserves a special mention for  the smooth transfers to and from Split airport. All the activities we participated in were good fun, we did not really have a favourite as we enjoyed them all. The ambience of Brac island is like no other. I couldn’t resist at looking at properties for sale here. A real slice of paradise.

As a family we would rate this up there with the best. The white-water rafting was a big hit as was the mountain biking day. My daughter really enjoyed the activities especially the biking as she does a lot back home. The social side was nice. Not forced just easy going. Great for single parents with one child!

The 2 weeks in Croatia we spent with your tour Leaders & other Green World guests have been a wonderful experience. With teenagers it’s always hard to find the right holiday to satisfy parents and the teens. But even though we booked onto an adventure holiday, it felt like we had a relaxing vacation too. Please pass my gratitude to Daniel, Barry, Maria and Sara. Wonderful tireless tour leaders who have more zap than Usain Bolt. 

Advice? We heard from the other families, Zipline experience was good fun and we can recommend the boating charter optional tour. I would use the cleaning services, very cheap and useful to keep on top of clean clothes without needing to bring too much in your bags.

This is a truly an amazing place to switch off and absorb some incredible landscapes. Barisha has to be the best host ever and looked after us so so well, leading us off for a different adventure each sunny day. We spent time exploring around small villages, towns, nature trails, canyons and rivers. The beaches of Podstrana are gorgeous. We even hit the mountains one day and worshipped the sun gods!  We stayed for 10 days (extending the program slightly) and went to a different place each day. Loved Trogir and split is excellent for tourists also. The variety of this week, with beaches and adventure holiday sports really did amaze us all. A real treat and highlight was the gala farewell restaurant serving delicious food. I cannot remember all the names of the specially prepared dishes but we tried something new. We loved it and so did the kids (phew!!) Perhaps one of the unique things about this active holiday is the friendliness of all the guests, locals and guides. We met some lovely people during our stay from all over Europe and UK, its a very special place. Its been a special holiday. Just go for it!

Hi guys, just wanted to say thanks for a great week. We really enjoyed our time on Lapad and exploring the other Elaphite islands. The Dubrovnik city tour was totally worth it and of course the kids loved all the Game of Throne references. Our guides Ivo and Marko were terrific. Extremely professional and attentive. All the kids loved them too which is always makes things easier for parents. We were with 3 other families and we all gelled really well. I guess this type of holiday attracts like minded people. I think paddling to Sipan and the exploring the island by bike was inspired. It felt like a proper day of adventure and exploration. I still have some of the framed flower pressings in my office from the little village we stopped in. It was a really sweet place and moment. We had a fabulous holiday. Croatia was beautiful, the adventure activities were fun, and the apartment was better than expected. The personal guidance we had from the green world staff was second to none. The food included in the trip was fresh local cuisine and cooked ever so well (the food is much more organic orientated in this country). Having the welcome gala meal was a lovely introduction to the week, its an easy ice breaker all bonding over good food (& wine for parents). Although sometimes the days were strenuous, you could opt out of any activities if you felt they were too beginning to be too much. The staff were so helpful and you really feel you get to see the true sides of Croatia’s personalities, with its friendly people and outstanding scenery. Our family has travelled alot in Europe and this has to be one of the best experiences to date. A great multi adventure for sure! Tips??Hmm well remember to wear lots of sunblock, especially when sea kayaking and taking boat trips. Our family booked Ziplining and the island hop boat day, and would say they were both great value extras to consider. Our family is quite restless, 13 yr boy and 16yr girl, so the more we have planned the better. WIFI was excellent in the rooms, and surprisingly good around the pool.

The Dubrovnik adventure week was great. We tagged a few days on either side in Dubrovnik so we felt we really got a good feel for the city. Then the week with you guys was more about the islands and nature. Our daughters [13 and 15] were the perfect age for the activities. I think younger kids may struggle with the kayaking and biking. Lapad was very nice and relaxing. There was a beach only 5 mins walk away which we went to as often as we could. Highlights were the day paddling to Sipan and then exploring the island by bike. We also loved ‘Sunj’ beach and SUP boarding around this area. Hats off to Marko and Damir who looked after us.

We all loved the adventure aqua park and volleyball area, this definitely beat our expectations. All in all, the holiday was exactly what was promised. hello there, just writing to praise the good work of all your guides. The 7 nights we had in Croatia were incredible. Each day was well organised, perfectly timed, and the right balance of fun, relaxation and action. So much was seen, so many areas covered, I don’t think enough pictures on your gallery could still do it justice. Green World are a new company to me but have ticked all the boxes. This itinerary is exactly what it says on the tin, and more. Highlights must be canyoning and the sea kayaking. Oh, and the evening meals are immense! Beers were cheap at the local water holes and I met some lovely people. It’s a nice blend of like-minded travelers, would strongly advise people to try this Croatia family activity holiday.

The stunning scenery and great skiing slopes. Very good ski instruction in private lessons. People very helpful and willing to go beyond what you would expect to assist. Very enjoyable. Slovenians are very welcoming and helpful – English widely spoken. Considering we were booking onto a half term February family ski holiday, we were expecting more crowds on the slopes, but we were pleasantly surprised with the ski resorts we went to. I booked this multi active adventure holiday in Croatia for my son, 11, so taking part in all the activities with other children was great. I loved the old cities we visited (especially Split) & the country side around Podstrana is lovely (we took a taxi up to the top of the mountains, recommended for photographers). My only gripe, was that on Thursday, on the only day that we experienced bad weather, it meant we couldn’t do the Boat and island hop optional excursion. It would have been nice to snorkel and swim off the boat. But overall – Excellent holiday concept, activities for all the family to take part in. I would definitely book another 1 next year in another country.

We booked this week activity holiday as part of our 2-week vacation in Croatia. It worked really well for us as we have 2 sporty teenage boys; so it’s good to keep them active. Ivo and Marko were super guides and the boys hero worshipped them. Lapad was very nice and a great base. Calm tranquil with lots of nature all around. For our second week we booked something ourselves on the mainland, so it was a nice contrast to your adventure week. Croatia is very pretty and is somewhere we would definitely come back to.

This Croatia activity holiday for families, caught our attention in the Sunday Times last year and we are so glad it did. The Dalmatia region is a dream destination, especially for active holidays. I had meant to contact you before now to say what a great active holiday we had. Thanks so much. It was great meeting Luka and Peve too. And his girlfriend Mirne, brother Amir and and all the great staff involved. All the adventures, especially the canyoning which we adored, white water rafting (which was better than my previous experience and great fun), white water rafting (which was great fun). Tips for others reading this – bring old trainers that can get wet- you will use them a lot, not just on the canyoning. People with no grip shoes found they were not up to the job on the canyoning. You don’t need to buy special shoes and you can also rent canyon boots for £5.00 at the start point. Relax and just have fun. Its great. Split and Rivers were 2 highlights of the trip. The captain on the private boat excursion was wonderful, the balance of doing and relaxation just right. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys family adventure and fun, wants to experience Croatia without too many tourists and yet wants to feel well looked after. Podstrana was a perfect place to be hosted.

Thanks for the link to the pictures. A great reminder of a fantastic holiday. Can’t thank Bostjan and Kristian (and Luka) enough for all that they did for us. We felt like VIPs and it was fantastic not to have to think about anything other than standing upright on skis. Bostjan worked very hard to make sure that everything was running as smoothly as possible for us and nothing was too much trouble, from the private ski hire session on our first evening to the moment we were dropped off at the airport. He and Kristian make a great team and Kristian was endlessly patient with the boys – a natural teacher. Luka was also great – a “top lad” in Daniel’s words – and both boys made tremendous progress during their three days of lessons. Slovenia was beautiful, the weather was kind, and our room in the hotel was comfortable. (The boys enjoyed using the pool and the sauna with the other lads at the end of the day.) It’s not every holiday where you can say that you were guided and taught by a member of the national ski jumping team, a member of the national mountain biking team, and a freestyle ski champion! All three were fantastic role models for the boys and when it was time to go, it felt like we were leaving friends. I was quite nervous before we left but I always felt in very safe and expert hands. A great winter ski break – thanks for arranging it all.

I had a few butterflies about doing some of the activities having never been in a raft, kayak, canyon but the team are very slick, polished, organised team of people. My family and another family spent seven days with Green World in Podstrana. We had a great fun and was nice to meet other like minded families and to have each other for moral support and encouragement. Our guide Russo was a relaxed and supportive tour leader, and gave a lot of extra energy to the weeks schedule. The apartment has as outstanding location, comfortable and peaceful at night and a short walk to the beach front. We loved our week break and then headed to the island of Brac afterwards to spend a few days chilling in the absolutely brilliantly chosen village apartments booked by Green World staff. We all agreed this activity holiday was a perfect mix of sport, good food included and enough downtime for independent family time. We are planning another trip with Green World to South Croatia next summer. Suggestion??? Well there is space for maybe a basketball hoop? This would be great for competitions and more sporty fun.

We had a great family active holiday in Slovenia, despite the weather initially being quite overcast. All the activities were great and the guides were excellent. The adventure park being the highlight ( because it is so different – climbing wall, trampoline, archery, slack-line, Frisbee golf and downhill air-tubes). Monster roller bikes were quite thrilling with everyone screaming for joy (i hope lol). The adventure park is very safe, and a fun contrast to being in the water! We would highly recommend the holiday to families with kids willing to have a go; the main guide was great with Meg and she never ever thought of not doing any of the activities. We were incredibly well looked after right from getting off the plane. All the Green World staff were always interested in us, what we were doing and how we felt. An excellent family adventure in Croatia. I shall definitely recommend it and may well return to do it all again. The experience was made more fun with the presence of Russo who was leading this trip. Thanks so much x

We all thought this was the right way to be introduced to Croatia. We enjoyed the sunny open skies all week, the diverse landscapes are dramatic & equally beautiful, and we covered some great territory within our 7 days here. The sheer beauty that is around each corner, is magical! The sleepy coastal villages and the vibrant cities alive and bustling. The nature pristine and the locals lovely. What a combination! We had a really great week in Podstrana with Green World.  It really lived up to my expectations – I wanted an active holiday that we could enjoy as a family, and I knew my boys would want to have some company their own age.  It worked really well for them – there was a great mix of kids, and friendships were forged very quickly over outdoor activities, card games, eating together, and hanging out around the swimming pool.   I really liked the balance of activities and free time – the activities gave a shape to every day, but there was also plenty of time to swim/relax and recharge.  The weather was a bonus – sunny and warm every day!  We all had different highlights – mine were tubing and canyoning,  swimming at the local beach in Podstrana, wine-tasting in Split, and the company of fellow guests. Maria and Nina were marvellous Tour Leaders – efficient, organised, helpful, and great company – hats off to Nina for entertaining all our kids in the pool while the parents went off wine tasting with Maria to the local vineyard!  We are waiting to show Maria round Oxford when she gets back to England for the winter…..
The apartments are great, with spacious rooms and good facilities, superb balconies with views of the blue sea.  I liked the food included, especially the farewell meal at the local tavern. The activities were really well organised, and I could see that great attention was paid to safety.  My one comment on the canyoning, which was probably the most physically challenging activity we did – could the guides take a snack in their waterproof canisters?  a few of us could have done with something to keep us going half way through the trip! We would definitely go with Green World again – I have my eye on a trip to Greece at some point in the next couple of years. A fabulous Croatian family adventure holiday in Dubrovnik. Exploring beautiful parts of the mainland and islands. Great people, spectacular scenery, and wonderful food – what more could we want as a family! The staff did a great job organizing, teaching and guiding. Fun was the call of each day, and the guides silly sense of humour was fantastic, and they seemed to really understand how to get the best out of the kids, offering the right amount of support throughout. This is a must-do holiday for families interested in Croatia, nature and social holidays.

The welcome meal was a very unique experience. It enabled the families to gel very quickly, which was a very good start to this Croatia family activity holiday. There was very little travelling. Beaches, restaurants, shops, office were all within 3 minutes walk. There was a washing machine on-site, so we didn’t need to pack as much as we did (I would add the information to your website). Overall this was an amazing holiday, which exceeded our expectations. Daniel (our tour leader) had the teenagers hanging off his every word. He gave just the right amount of motivation and persuasion. The activities were a lot of fun and plenty of downtime, so parents really felt relaxed. Although an adventure holiday in Croatia was what we wanted, we still appreciated the balance of action and relaxation. The village we stayed in was perfect. We gave our two boys complete freedom and we were not worried. They were always with friends, but the village is very safe. The accommodation is exactly how its described: practical, clean, well kept and comfortable. Its a great base that suited our needs very much.

We did lots of fun activities and were shown many beautiful places. The location of the hotel is spot on, very safe and Ljubljana is a fairy-tale looking kind of place. We have done adventure holidays before finding your agency. We would say, that the balance between activity and relaxation time is just right. Our teenagers said they liked the blend of land and water activities, and my youngest Jenny didn’t feel left out (being the smallest). Having other families, with similar aged teenagers was a great help. So i would ask, about age matching where possible.
