For those families with restless teenager children, there is more to book locally. Try: scuba diving, eco-electric jet skis and island boat excursions.
Day 5: Wednesday (Week 1)
SUP Boarding
Standup paddle boarding is the fastest growing sport on the planet, and for good measure. It’s safe and a lot of fun. Together, as one big family group, we’ll take to the beach. From teenagers to parents, this is a firm favourite of the week. If you’ve never done it before, our instructors will have you upright and paddling super quickly. For the more advanced, we’ll be playing games and honing your sea power. Croatia is the perfect destination for a family water sports holiday. SUP boarding guarantees to be a cool thing to do this summer.
Day 6: Thursday (Week 1)

The beach is 5 minutes away from your accommodation. Bike trails surround you and criss-cross Brac island. So for families wanting that full-on multi active family holiday experience in Croatia, you couldn’t be in a better place. Pedal boats, boat trips and scuba diving days are available to book locally. For something really special we can highly recommend the shepherds village tour. It’s one of the coolest walks you’ll ever do, crossing amazing and varied terrains. The tour ends in a traditional mountain village, where you’ll have an incredible feast. There’s a Facebook photo album to see it, just read the parent comments underneath.
Day 7: Friday (Week 1)
Mountain biking & Gala meal
Brac is absolutely ideal for cycling and off-road biking action. You will have chance to cycle through picturesque villages, charming olive groves and along epic coastal backdrops. Wherever we find a secluded cove, our guests are welcome to jump in! Your biking leader will always choose the route to best suit the family group. Halfway along our route, there will be time for coffee and a swim. The tour is supported by van throughout the entire time. Tonight, we’ll be enjoying a farewell gala meal. Teenagers describe our River Tubing tour as epic fun. Get ready for splash action on river rapids. Each family member gets their own rubber donut, which they’ll use to negotiate the river flows. White water river tubing combines spins, splashes and a heavy dose of laughter. Halfway down, they’ll be an opportunity to jump into the rapids and swim in the water. If you’re looking for a family holiday that combines water sports, then River Tubing is must-do experience.

It’s of course important to sample the local wine and beer for parents.
Day 11: Tuesday (Week 2)
Beach time or Optional Zip lining
Guests have the easy option of relaxing around the swimming pool or can head to the beach. There is lots to do around Podstrana from: pedal boats to scuba diving. There is even a fantastic floating sea assault course, with water obstacles to negotiate. Definitely a firm favourite for teenager activity holidays. For the families with high energy teens, there is an option to book ‘Zip-lining’. Travelling along a high wire, at 60 km per hour might sound like a nightmare to some parents, for their children, it’s like a dream activity. Under One entry fee, there are 8 x zip lines to experience.
Day 12: Wednesday (Week 2)
White Water Rafting & Omis
White water rafting is an exhilarating excursion. The canyon you’ll be exploring is one of the best in Europe and biggest in Croatia. To experience these white water rapids with your children will be an unforgettable experience. Pulling together as a family, splahing your way through a maze of imposing cliffs and rock boulders. When we finally disembark the rafts, we’ll dry off and head towards the famous ‘City of Pirates’. The stunning old town of Omis, has a clifftop fortress and a huge stretch of blue flag beaches. Podstrana is nestled on the coastline, with lovely uncrowded beaches. As this is your Free Day, we advise guests to explore the beaches, relax around the pool, or find the nearby tennis & sports courts. For families that want to see & do more, then we highly recommend the optional ‘Boat Charter & Island hop’. This is a full day trip, with your own private captain & crew.
